Amanda Zarr is a professional actor, director, and adjunct theatre professor She earned her BFA from Chapman University, and her MFA from the prestigious PATP program at the University of Washington. She currently directs and teaches at Chapman University. She was a member of Shakespeare Orange County for over 10 years and served as associate artistic director. She has been a guest artist with Ophelia’s Jump, Pensacola Shakespeare Company, ACTC, Need Theater of Los Angeles and Santa Fe University of Art and Design, and Long Beach City College. Notable acting includes: Every Brilliant Thing, Hamlet (Golden West College), Fiona (In a Word) and Margie (Good People) at Chance Theater, and Juliet, Helena, and Lady Anne at Shakespeare Orange County. She won the Orange Curtain’s best actress for 2022 (Lina in Cry it Out, Chance Theater). She is a Resident Artist at Chance Theater.
