Ralph’s (and other related Kroger Family Companies) donates up to 4% per month of eligible purchases to support the Chance Theater. You can help us by creating an account with Ralph’s and registering your Rewards card to the Chance Theater.

How To Register

1. Go to www.ralphs.com and click “Sign In” if you already have an account with Ralph’s.
   1. If you are not already registered click “Register”
   2. Follow the next five steps indicated by Ralph’s
   3. Go to your email to check for a confirmation email
   4. View information and edit if necessary
   5. Link your Ralph’s Reward card to the Chance Theater (Organization Number VQ863)
2. Under Account Summary
   • Register your Rewards Card or get a new one by clicking the “Get a Digital Rewards Card online today.”
   • Go to Community Rewards, search for “Chance Theater” (Organization Number VQ863) and select it.

How it Works

Gifts of appreciated stock can offer significant tax advantages. If you transfer long-term appreciated securities directly to Chance Theater, you may be able to deduct the fair market value of the gift and avoid capital gains tax that could arise if you sold the shares first. In general, gifts of appreciated assets are deductible up to certain limits of your adjusted gross income, with potential carryover provisions. Please consult your tax advisor or attorney for guidance specific to your situation — this is not legal or tax advice.

How to donate stock

1. Notify your broker of your intent to transfer stock to Chance Theater.
2. Provide your broker with our brokerage instructions — contact Erika Miller (below) for the exact DTC/account details and any paperwork your broker may require.
3. Tell us the name of the stock, number of shares, and your broker’s name and phone number so we can confirm receipt and properly acknowledge your gift.
4. Stock is generally valued on the date the shares are transferred into Chance Theater’s account (the date of receipt).

Give beyond cash

Gifts of goods, services, and space help Chance Theater create powerful, community-centered theater. In-kind donations support our productions onstage, our teams behind the scenes, and fundraising efforts such as auction items for our Annual Gala. Most donated items (other than your time or professional services) may qualify for a tax deduction — please consult your tax advisor for details.

• Theatrical lighting and sound equipment
• Sound-absorbing material

• Construction tools and building materials (screws, nails, lumber, adhesives)

Auction items for our Annual Gala

We welcome new items and services that can be offered at auction to raise funds — examples include vintage wines, jewelry, restaurant certificates, hotel stays, museum passes, and gift packages.

Please note: our storage is limited. We ask donors to be selective and coordinate with us before delivering large or bulky items.

We provide a free, convenient service for converting that extra car, truck, or RV into a tax deductible donation benefiting Chance Theater.

Our trusted service also manages vehicle donations for NPR’s Car Talk, Boy Scouts of America, and many more, so you can can be sure that your vehicle donation will be properly handled.  You will get a tax deduction and Chance Theater will get the highest available percentage donation from the sale of your donated vehicle as compared to many other vehicle donation programs.
