Our first experience at Chance Theater was to be absorbed in Reborning in 2012. This very weird, sort of creepy play was so powerfully acted, we immediately bought tickets for Chance’s next production, West Side Story. Again, another powerful performance with a gang fight so realistic we almost jumped out of our seats to help the Sharks devour the Jets. We were hooked and have attended most every performance since then. Chance has made us feel like members of a very special family. We especially enjoy being Producers where we can learn how plays and musicals are put together—the auditions, rehearsals, and all the behind the scenes people who make it happen. We love that every season Chance takes on some big challenges—sometimes challenging ideas, sometimes challenging productions. Besides theater, we enjoy sailing, gardening, cooking, reading, and being with friends and family. Linda is a busy painter. Tod is not. Linda grew up in Long Beach, Tod on Balboa Island. We have lived in Minneapolis, Princeton, New Jersey, and now live on the Balboa Peninsula.
